  • Cargo Carrying Units (CCU) Inspection and Certification
  • Six monthly color code survey of lifting equipment
  • Verifications of cranes Safe load Indicators (SLI)
  • Inspection and testing of Life Boat davits launching and retrieval systems as specified within SOLAS and IMO regulations
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
  • Maintenance and re-certification of portable lifting gears (Chain blocks, lever hoists, etc.)
  • lifting operations planning and supervision
  • Provide consultation and advice in the following:
    • Creating & Updating Company’s Lifting Practices according current industry standards
    • Regular lifting audits on/off shore facilities including barges and vessels supported with detailed audit reports
    • Verification of Competency of personnel engaged in lifting operations and provide gap analysis report.
  • Lifting/hoisting method determination: by crane, hydraulic lift/jacking systems, mast/tower lifting systems
  • Independent studies and survey’s for complex lifting and transportation projects
  • Independent review of lifting, hoisting, rigging and transport proposals prepared by others
  • Preparation or review of risk assessments (combining risk analysis and risk evaluation) for lifting, hoisting, rigging and specialized transport operations
  • Sea forces, ship/barge deck strength and sea-fastenings assessment
  • Independent witness during lifting, hoisting, rigging and transport operations
  • Verification of personnel qualifications and competences
  • Technical assessment of existing Safe System of Work
  • Develop and deliver suitable training based on the new procedures
  • Conduct audits to assess implementation, compliance, knowledge and gaps
  • Providing detailed method statements including preparation of CAD drawing
  • Incident and accident investigation, analysis and determination of Root Cause
